The conference was organized under the high auspices of PhD Ivo Josipovi\u0107, the President of the Republic of Croatia and under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Croatia.<\/p>\n<p>The audience consisted of approximately 130 participants representing national competent authorities, agriculture cooperatives, food industry, consumer&#8217;s organizations, scientist, and other stakeholder groups from Croatia and the countries of the region.<\/p>\n<p>In the opening part the audience was welcomed and addressed by the Director of the Croatian Food Agency, Andrea Gross-Bo\u0161kovi\u0107, Klara Szeker, representative of the FAO, Vladimir Ham, Deputy Mayor of City of Osijek, \u017deljko Kralji\u010dak,\u00a0 Deputy county perfect of the Osijek-Baranja County and Davorka Hajdukovi\u0107, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic Croatia.<\/p>\n<p>PhD Ivo Josipovi\u0107, President of the Republic Croatia, addressed to the audience by video message.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xJc671gPOos?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Szeker.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-622 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Szeker.jpg\" alt=\"WFD2013-Szeker\" width=\"250\" height=\"178\" \/><\/a>The first of the six plenary presentations on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/pdf\/wfd2013\/Szeker-FAO-WFD2013.pdf\">Healthy food systems = healthy people<\/a> was delivered by Klara Szeker, Regional office for Europe and Central Asia, FAO, Budapest, Hungary<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Butijer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-623 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Butijer.jpg\" alt=\"WFD2013-Butijer\" width=\"250\" height=\"178\" \/><\/a>Nancy Butijer, Head of Division for Economic Multilateral Relations, Economic and Social Issues, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, delivered the presentation on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/pdf\/wfd2013\/Butijer-MVEP-WFD2013.pdf\">Sustainable development and food security in the context of the Post-2015 UN development agenda<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Musulin.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-624 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Musulin.jpg\" alt=\"WFD2013-Musulin\" width=\"250\" height=\"178\" \/><\/a>The next presentation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/pdf\/wfd2013\/Musulin-Min-Polj-WFD2013.pdf\">State of the ecological and integrated agriculture in Croatia<\/a> was delivered by Darija Musulin, Head of the Department for Ecological and Integrated Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Croatia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Gross-Boskovic.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-628 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Gross-Boskovic.jpg\" alt=\"WFD2013-Gross-Boskovic\" width=\"250\" height=\"178\" \/><\/a>After the break, Andrea Gross-Bo\u0161kovi\u0107, Director of the Croatian Food Agency, presented the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/pdf\/wfd2013\/Gross-Boskovic-HAH-WFD2013.pdf\">Sustainable food systems as models of future development<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Loncaric.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-629 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Loncaric.jpg\" alt=\"WFD2013-Loncaric\" width=\"250\" height=\"178\" \/><\/a>Then PhD Zdenko Lon\u010dari\u0107, from Faculty of Agriculture in Osijek, presented <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/pdf\/wfd2013\/Loncaric-PFOS-WFD2013.pdf\">sustainable systems in practice through presentation of the Agri-Conto-Cleen project<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-deZeeuw.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-627 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-deZeeuw.jpg\" alt=\"WFD2013-deZeeuw\" width=\"250\" height=\"178\" \/><\/a>The concluding presentation in plenary part <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/pdf\/wfd2013\/deZeeuw-RUAF-WFD2013.pdf\">Building resilient urban food systems; new concepts and lessons learnt in practice<\/a> was delivered by Henk de Zeeuw, Senior advisor in the RUAF-Foundation from the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Bulic.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-625 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Bulic.jpg\" alt=\"WFD2013-Bulic\" width=\"250\" height=\"178\" \/><\/a>In the last part of the conference, Gordana Buli\u0107 from the Regional associations of the consumers from Tuzla, presented the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/pdf\/wfd2013\/Bulic-potrosac-Tuzla-WFD2013.pdf\">Project \u201eEurope for citizens &#8211; consumers&#8217; rights in the SE Europe and European practice&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Buzjak1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-626 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hah.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/WFD2013-Buzjak1.jpg\" alt=\"WFD2013-Buzjak1\" width=\"250\" height=\"178\" \/><\/a>According to the programme, followed discussion and questions by the audience.
